Creating a response rate dashboard

Setting up a response rate dashboard

Updated over a week ago

Once your survey is up and running, you’ll want to keep an eye on the response numbers coming in. You can see this at the top of every page on the platform.

However, to share your response rate with colleagues who don’t have access to the platform, you will need to create a dashboard with a live response rate tracker.

Viewing your response rate on the platform

On the top of every page on the People Insight platform, you will see the number of responses so far. You can also see a summary of your response rate on the right-hand side of the page.

Setting up a response rate dashboard

We recommend that you create a dashboard exclusively to track and share your response rate – this dashboard should not display any other survey data.

To set your response rate dashboard up, head to the Dashboards page and click Create New.

Give your dashboard a title for example “{Survey name} response rate”.

We only want to show the response rate here, so remove the other pages by clicking the toggle button to ‘Off’.

Add a date that your dashboard will be available. This should be consistent with your survey close date.

Set your dashboard as live so people can log into it.

At the bottom of your page, you have your variable filters. These are the groups that you will see your response rate broken down by. Keep these to organisational data only – for example, which division and which department people are responding from.

Remove any other variable filters and save your changes.
