Employee IDs

A unique code assigned to every employee for identification purposes

Updated this week

Feature description

An employee ID serves as a unique code assigned to each individual within an organisation for identification purposes. If every user has an employee code this provides long-term reliability and prevents errors from happening. We use employee IDs instead of email addresses or surnames as there is no risk of this data changing.

Employee IDs are important for action planning, tracking, and tying data together within an organisation.

If you are a self-managed user, please remember to provide employee IDs to your users. See the demo video on exactly how to do this.

How Employee IDs work:

The organisation provides each employee with a unique ID in the system backend. If a user changes their username or email address they are still connected to their personal ID code.
