Please note: your need Prism enabling first

Updated over a week ago

Overview

📌 Note: If you are a client and wish to enable Prism, you must contact your designated representative at People Insight to facilitate this process, as it is a Premium feature

Once Prism is enabled, it will appear as an option in your dashboard setup. Detailed instructions on managing this are provided below.

Enabling Prism for a client (for People Insight admin only)

To make Prism available for a Client organisation, you need to enable two features: Advanced Comments (using AI) and Prism. This is done under the Manage Organisation section.

Important: Enabling Prism at the Organisation level does not automatically activate it on any dashboards. This step only makes the feature available for further configuration at the dashboard level.

Step 1: Configuring Prism on specific dashboards (for clients and People Insight admin)

Once Prism is enabled, you can decide how to apply it across different dashboards. You have the flexibility to enable Prism for all users on a dashboard, specific Dashboard User Groups, or individual users.

Enabling Prism for All Users on a Dashboard:

  1. Navigate to Manage Dashboard: Go to the dashboard where you want to enable Prism.

  2. Toggle Prism to on: Switch on Prism for the entire dashboard. This will enable Prism for all users who have access to this dashboard.

Enabling Prism for Specific Users or Dashboard User Groups:

If you prefer to enable Prism only for certain users or groups, you need to override the default setting.

  1. Navigate to Manage Dashboard: select the dashboard you want to configure.

  2. Locate user or Dashboard User Group: identify the specific users or groups for whom you want to enable Prism.

  3. Override Prism Setting:

    • Change the Prism setting from "Inherit from Dashboard" to "Override".

    • Enable Prism for the selected users or groups.

This approach allows you to finely control who can access Prism, ensuring that only the intended users have access to this advanced functionality.

Summary

By following these steps, you can effectively manage the availability of Prism across your organisation’s dashboards. Remember, enabling Prism at the organisation level only makes it available as an option; you must still decide where and for whom it should be activated.

📌 If you’re a client needing to enable Prism, please contact your People Insight representative to begin the process.
