Overview of the 360° Insight Feedback System
The 360° Insight Feedback System is a developmental tool designed to give participants a comprehensive understanding of their strengths and areas for growth. By gathering feedback from a range of perspectives (e.g., managers, peers, and direct reports), the system provides valuable insights to help participants refine their skills and achieve better results.
Key principles
Self-driven process: You manage your feedback assessment, ensuring it progresses within the suggested timeline of 3-4 weeks.
Confidential feedback: Your report is for your personal use, but you’re encouraged to discuss the findings with your manager or an independent coach.
Focus on development: The process is exclusively for developmental feedback and is not used for any other purpose.
You are responsible for:
Completing your self-assessment promptly.
Selecting and briefing your raters (feedback providers).
Monitoring the assessment's progress and reminding raters to provide feedback on time.
Discussing your feedback report with your manager or coach, as appropriate.

Specifying your raters
Choose people who know you well and who you often work with. Think about who can and will give you the most constructive and honest feedback. Do not choose just those people that you get on with and consider as “friends“.
The system will inform you the minimum number of raters for each category required in order to generate a feedback report.
We would strongly encourage you to talk to your raters first to ask them if they are happy to take part to give you some feedback. Explain that they will need to set aside some time to do this.
Explain the process to them - particularly the deadlines that you would like them to work to - and stress that their feedback will be anonymous. If you check in advance with your raters that they are happy to take part and warn them that they will receive an email invitation from the system they are much more likely to take part.
Click on "Manage raters" to get started
Add the names and email addresses of individuals who can provide constructive and honest feedback.
Ensure email addresses are accurate.
Ensure you are placing the rater in the correct rater category
Brief your raters beforehand, explaining the purpose and deadlines. Reassure them that their feedback will remain anonymous.
Sending email invitations
Customise the email invitation text as needed, ensuring that placeholders (e.g., #name#) are used correctly.
Preview the invite first.
Then send the invitations to your raters.
Monitoring assessment progress
From your homepage, view your assessment's status to check which raters have completed their feedback.
Use the system to send reminders to raters individually or in bulk that haven't fed back yet.
Each time a rater completes their assessment you will receive an email notification.
Generating your report
Once the required number of responses from each rater category is received, you will receive an email notification.
Now that you have achieved minimum response numbers, when you next log into the system you will see the ‘create report’ button. You can now create your report. Please note, once you create your report the project is closed. Any outstanding raters will not be able to provide feedback. You may consider waiting for more feedback if you have time.
Your report will take a few seconds to generate. You will have access to an online dashboard of your results to explore. Please note you also have the option to download to PDF.
Use the insights to identify key areas for development and plan your next steps in consultation with your manager or coach.
