New Action Planning is now Live

Updated over a week ago

Employee surveys create the most value when people can see what happens next.

That’s why we’ve launched an upgraded Action Planning experience, designed to help organisations move faster from insight to impact - turning feedback into clear, owned, trackable improvement.

What's changed?

From February 5th, you will have access to the new Action Planning experience automatically.

You’ll see an updated workflow that makes it easier to:

  • Track progress over time

  • Keep momentum going through reminders and nudges

  • View all actions in one place, across all your dashboards

  • Add comments to actions for collaboration

  • See an action’s version history, so updates are always transparent

Action Planning helps make improvement part of the rhythm of work — not just a one-off response after survey results.

Track progress over time

Action Planning now makes it easier to see how actions are moving forward, with a clearer interface and status tracking that supports ongoing delivery — not just action creation.

Switch between Kanban and Grid view

You can view your actions in the format that suits the moment:

  • Kanban view for progress and workflow

  • Grid view for scanning, reviewing and reporting

Improved filters

For the dashboard user role - in other words not the Super User and Manager roles - we have simplified the Action Plan view by removing the results filter.

The Super User and Manager roles get a new filter more powerful filter, which also shows when looking across more than one dashboard, no matter your role.

Keep momentum going through reminders and nudges

To help ensure actions don’t stall, reminders and nudges are now enabled by default. Dashboard users will receive a welcome email with a summary of their results, encouraging timely engagement and follow-through in the platform.

Depending on your setup, nudges include:

  • a results invitation

  • an invitation to take action (with reminders)

  • an action progress reminder if an action hasn’t been updated for a month

  • an action due reminder

  • an action completed email

View all actions in one place, across all your dashboards

You can now see and manage actions across surveys and dashboards in one central view. This gives organisations a joined-up picture of progress — from team-level actions to strategic priorities.

Add comments to actions for collaboration

Actions are now more collaborative, with the ability to add comments directly within each action. This helps teams share updates, provide context, and stay aligned as work progresses.

See an action’s version history, so updates are always transparent

Each action now includes a version history, making it easy to see what has changed over time. This improves transparency and ensures progress and edits are always clear.
