Upgraded Action Planning – faster progress from insight to impact

Employee surveys create the most value when people can see what happens next. That’s why we’ve launched an upgraded Action Planning experience, designed to help organisations move faster from insight to impact — turning feedback into clear, owned, trackable improvement.


Key Updates

Automatic access from February 5th

From February 5th, all clients will automatically see the new Action Planning experience in the platform. Action Insights will be updated in due course.

The updated workflow makes it easier to:

  • Track progress over time

  • Keep momentum going through reminders and nudges

  • View all actions in one place, across dashboards

  • Collaborate through action comments

  • See full version history for transparency

Action Planning helps make improvement part of the rhythm of work — not just a one-off response after survey results.


Track progress over time

Action Planning now provides clearer progress tracking, supporting ongoing delivery — not just action creation.

Kanban and Grid views

You can now switch between two layouts depending on what you need:

  • Kanban view for workflow and progress

  • Grid view for scanning, reviewing, and reporting


Improved filters

We’ve streamlined filtering to make Action Planning easier to use across roles:

  • Dashboard users now see a simplified view, with the results filter removed

  • Super Users and Managers gain a more powerful filter, including when viewing actions across multiple dashboards


Keep momentum going through reminders and nudges

To ensure actions don’t stall, nudges and reminders are now enabled by default.

Dashboard users will receive a welcome email summarising results and encouraging timely engagement.

Depending on your setup, nudges may include:

  • Results invitation

  • Invitation to take action (with reminders)

  • Progress reminder if an action hasn’t been updated for a month

  • Due date reminder

  • Action completed email


View all actions in one place

You can now see and manage actions across surveys and dashboards in one central view, giving organisations a joined-up picture of progress — from team-level actions to strategic priorities.


Add comments for collaboration

Actions are now more collaborative, with the ability to add comments directly within each action. This helps teams share updates, provide context, and stay aligned as work progresses.


Version history for transparency

Each action now includes a full version history, making it easy to see what has changed over time and ensuring edits and progress remain clear.

With clearer progress tracking, built-in nudges, a central cross-dashboard action view, and new collaboration and transparency features, it’s now easier than ever to turn survey feedback into visible, meaningful improvement over time.
