Protect the privacy and identity of minority respondent groups

Survey has a focal point

Add a focal point to your survey results dashboard, by toggling this switch to the on position. You can also choose a name to use for the focal point:

If this setting is switched on, your results dashboard will have a focal point section on the home page and the name you added will be used for the section title:

Please note, you will need to use focal point questions within your survey question structure in order for this feature to work.

If you use a pre built PI survey template, for example: PEARL, the focal point will be set to 'on' as default and the focal point name will be 'engagement'.

No. of questions to include in Key Driver report

This will default to 5, but you can reduce the amount for smaller surveys. It will dictate how many key drivers to pull into your key driver report in the results dashboard here:

Anonymity threshold (min. respondents)

This defaults to 5, but can be increased. It determines the minimum number of respondents that need to exist in a group for results to show for that group.

Comments anonymity threshold

The comments anonymity threshold can be set separately from the main question set.

Enable filter restriction

This method of data protection ensures that the information of the smaller groups of participants stays anonymous, particularly in situations where individual data could be discovered with careful analysis.

When applied, no filters below the threshold can be combined with any other filters of the same level to exceed the anonymity threshold. Filters below the threshold are not selectable.

The main benefit of the feature is that there is no human interference in the representation of the results. If a smaller group is at risk of being identified, the system will represent them as unclear. This offers respondents the opportunity for freedom of expression while being protected as a vulnerable population.

Toggle 'Enable filter restrictions' to turn this on. When a survey has filter restrictions there is no way to turn it off once the survey is live.
