Create multiple choice questions

Updated over a week ago

Multi-choice questions allow survey respondents to choose from multiple options to answer a question. Multi-choice questions differ from 'survey specific variable questions' in that you cannot use them to split data in the results dashboard. This option will present the results for your multi-choice question as a chart or table on your survey results dashboard.

First, select the reporting section you’d like the question to sit under. Then select ‘Add New’, and choose ‘Multiple choice question’ from the list.

Add the question to the 'Question text' field. You can have single-select questions or multiple-answer questions. Single-select questions require respondents to choose one option. Multiple-answer questions allow respondents to choose all options that apply. You can also add 'none of the above' and 'other' responses, by toggling them on.

After adding your question, select 'answer options' and add your answer options by selecting the 'add answer option' button

You can then add as many options as you require. Just press 'save' and repeat for each answer option

You can test your multiple choice question is working as expected by selecting the 'desktop preview' button at the top right of your screen
